Fix 1- Turn off your VPN
This is the number one cause of location errors.
A VPN hides your real location, which causes our site to think you’re somewhere you’re not – or somewhere gambling isn’t allowed.
To turn your VPN off:
- Look for your VPN app in the bottom right corner of your screen (system tray)
- Right click it and select Disconnect or Turn Off
- Refresh our site and try again.
- Some antivirus programs turn on a VPN automatically without you knowing.
Fix 2- Allow the site to see your location in your browser
In Google Chrome:
- Click the padlock icon next to the website address at the top Click Site Settings Find the location and change it from BLOCK to ALLOW
- Refresh the page.
In Microsoft Edge:
- Click the padlock icon next to the website address
- Click Connection Secure then More Information
- Click the Permissions tab
- Find Access Your Location and select ALLOW
- Refresh the page
In Firefox:
- Click the padlock icon next to the website address
- Click Connection Secure then More Information
- Click Permissions Tab
- Find “Access Your Location” and select “Allow”
- Refresh the page
Fix 3- Turn off your Ad Blocker Temporarily
Ad blockers sometimes accidentally block the location verification tool our site uses. Think of it like an overzealous security guard blocking someone who is actually supposed to be let in.
- Look for your ad blocker icon at the top right of your browser (common ones are UBlock Orgin, AdBlock, or AdBlock Plus)
- Click it and select Pause, Disable or Turn off for this site
- Refresh the page and try again
Fix 4- Make sure Windows Location Services are Turned On
For Windows 11:
- Click START
- Click Settings (gear icon)
- Click Privacy
- Click Location on the left side
- Make sure location is switched On
For Windows 10:
- Click START
- Click Settings (gear icon)
- Click Privacy
- Click Location on the left side
- Make sure location is switched ON
Fix 5- Try a Different Browser.
Sometimes your browser has settings that cannot be easily changed. The quickest fix is to try a different one.
- Microsoft Edge
- Google Chrome
- Firefox
Fix 6- Check your Anti-Virus isn’t blocking the site
Antivirus programs sometimes block gambling sites or their location tools thinking they are suspicious. Think of it like an overly protective parent blocking something that is perfectly safe.
- Open your antivirus program
- Look for a section called Web Protection, Firewall or Site Blocking
- Add our website to the trusted or allowed list Common antivirus programs: Norton, McAfee, AVG, Avast, Bitdefender
Fix 7- Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
Old, stored data in your browser can sometimes cause the location check to fail. Think of it like clearing out old junk mail that’s clogging up your mailbox. In Chrome or Edge.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard at the same time.
- Set the time range to All Time
- Check boxes for Cookies and Cached images and files
- Click “Clear Data”
- Close and Reopen your browser, then try again.
Fix 8- Restart your Router/Modem
Sometimes your Home Internet connection assigns you an incorrect location. Restarting it can fix this.
- Unplug your router or modem from the wall.
- Wait 60 seconds
- Plug it back in
- Wait for all the lights to come back on (about 2 minutes)
- Try the site again.
